We got the keys to our home on December 21st. We sat on the back deck with our relator, Jim Claassen, and drank a magnum of champagne! What can I say, we had to celebrate properly. We painted like maniacs for four days straight, got a small Christmas tree to decorate, and had our first visitors Christmas night. Our dear friends, Jeff and Betsy McCue are huge fans of Paso, and we were excited they were coming for a visit.
We also decided, while we are on a roll, why not start our flock? Seems like a reasonable idea to just jump right in, and so that’s what we have done! December 26th, just five short days after we got the keys, we got our founding animal members of “The Dream Team”. Meet Violet and Mary, our first two dairy goats.
